Forming A Sleeping Pattern For Your Baby

Your baby can be help to sleep by Pavlov’s dogs. Pavlov’s dogs provided a way for babies to sleep. Ivan Pavlov and his dog’s experiment are a pair who if you have heard of them then you know what the benefits of conditioning are. The training involved was that he taught his dogs that when the bell chimes here they would salivate and know it was a cue to feed. The dogs eating time was scheduled for any time the bell rang. That sounds easy, doesn’t it? The dogs knew that it was time to feed each the bell rang and as such they would go over the place where they were served the food. We will discuss a baby’s sleep training and not dogs cue to feed.

The training aspect of both the dogs and the baby are similarly the only difference is that we know the baby is not a dog. You should start by following your baby’s patterns and identify the sleeping cues.

This will be good to help your baby in sleeping as you will know the sleep time and the behavior traits done when it’s time to sleep.

This is a good concept I’m sure. It is not easy to implement as it is easy to write. For this idea to work it is a must you consider some aspects.

One, you need a constant organized timetable for the baby on a daily basis. Because when you have a timetable which you follow consistently then it will be easy to predict what is coming next. If the schedule is followed constantly on a daily basis you will know what to expect and also what follows after that and be able to know the sleep cue.

Sometime you want to help the baby to settle so she can sleep on her own.

If you decide to sway the baby ensure it is gentle and consistent.

When the baby is being swayed it is assisted to sleep by some rhythms. Make sure that you sway the baby gently because if you do it fast the baby will not think it is sleep time instead it will think it is time for play.

In case you do not have a schedule it is about time to draft one. One good cue is time for taking a bath. If you design your schedule in a way that after bathtime there is some activity centered on sleeping it should not be a problem if you tell them to go to bed.

To conclude, babies start their lives in the womb, and they more accustomed to it. A baby will feel quite insecure if they came into the world with a lot of vitality. For a baby to sleep properly the transition from the womb to the world should be gentle and smooth.
